TÜBİTAK Marmara Research Center (MAM) has started to offer industrial test and analysis services for foreign clients upon demands from abroad. Marmara Research Center and its 7 Institutes with international accreditation have already been conducting more than 50,000 analyses on average per year in 612 laboratories, for domestic demands.
Thanks to the reliability of the Center’s results, a German company preferred Marmara Research Center for tensile tests on package strappings in the Materials Institute’s Mechanical Testing Laboratory; and the results have been reported to the foreign company.
The essential oil samples of Tanzania Industrial Research and Development Organization (TIRDO) that were sent to the Chemical Technology Institute of TÜBİTAK MAM upon the bilateral talks during Tanzanian delegation’s visit to TÜBİTAK MAM in September 2015, were subjected to various parameter analyses and the report has been sent to the relevant organization.
TÜBİTAK MAM carries out the customs transactions of the foreign-origin samples. In this way, it meets the test/analysis demands from abroad and generates income from foreign countries. TÜBİTAK MAM also makes researches for detecting and domestically providing the tests and analyses that are not available in Turkey and made in foreign countries; in order to achieve monetary saving and accumulation of knowledge.
